SHIFT is currently in the process of putting the finishing touches on their debut CD “Creating A Monster”. The album was tracked at Cambria Sound Studios by SHIFT, under the watchful eye of producer/engineer DREW MAZUREK (Byzantine, Lincoln Park, H.I.M., Nothing Face, etc.). SHIFT will be mixing the album with DREW in mid-August, 2006.

“Creating A Monster” will consist of 11 hard-hitting songs that are sure to please even the most discerning listener. The band has chosen 3 full song samples to give you a taste of what is to come, Escape The Machine, Gone Wrong, and Taking Lives. All three are pre mix samples from the forthcoming CD.

After the mixing of the cd in August, Doug and Steve will join the band and get right to work on writing their parts for the new music. The music for the new cd is wide open for Doug and Steve to absolutely go nuts on, so we can't wait to hear how this will turn out. SHIFT is also going to get to work on putting together a great live show and hope to be out by sometime in late winter so check in for details on that.
